| McDelivery 1711 kicks off 24 hours service for Euro 2008 |

Bangkok - May 28, 2008 – McDelivery 1711 has kicked off 24 hours service to welcome UEFA Euro Championship 2008. Football fans can enjoy favourites such as Big Mac, McFish, Pork Samurai Burger and Spicy McWings, while cheering on their favourite teams with no interruptions. The 24-hour service is set to continue after the football is over.

After McDonald’s expanded the 1711 delivery service to 24 hours last year, it was warmly welcomed by customers. So we are aiming to expand our customer base by expanding the 1711 delivery service 24 hours in many areas, providing service to working people, students and football fans watching late-night games.
“According to consumer insights, we have found that most football fans watch the big tournaments in groups and watch the matches live on television without getting up to go anywhere, not wishing to miss a second of the action. McDonald’s is catering to this group of customers with a 24-hour delivery service. Just phone in your order on 1711 and we will deliver tasty food to your door.” Mr. Hester Chew added.
“As for marketing strategy, McDonald’s spends the budget approximately 25 million baht for this campaign with the aims to fulfill customer needs by studying their desires and communicating with customers in 360 degrees with both above the line and below the line activities, as well as marketing activities such as McDelivery troop. These include cheerleaders and the football skills show, and PR activities aiming to connect with consumers at every touchpoints – TV ads, print ads, ad banners, leaflets, the Euro 2008 match schedule and other in-store media. This includes decorating 6 outlets to welcome Euro 2008 and showing the football action live in 5 outlets. McDonald’s is also giving back to customers with an SMS activity to guess the teams of the quarter finals and the championship. The prizes include is a Samsung LCD TV and a hip mobile phones, when buying a set with Coke and French fries with chicken menus only.”
